Roadmap

0.1 - "Training"

• playing mrls, m3us and navigating in playlist
• playback features - play, pause, stop, seek
• test it with Audio CDs, MP3, Ogg Vorbis & WAV files

0.2 - "Proof of concept"

• add equalizer
• GUI for loading playlists (as well as for loading files)
• handling several types of playlists - PLS, M3U, ASX, Noatun etc. (thanks to kaffeine's algorythms)
• save state on exit
• test it with Audio CDs, MP3, OGG, WAV, WMA

0.3 - "Jukebox"

• editing and saving playlists
• multiple settings for the equalizer (possibly changing them on-the-run)
• exporting equalizer's settings to file (for exchange)
• drag-n-drop support
• dcop interface
• some documentation
• registering in KDE, so that kxplayer can be chosen as default player
• tests on streaming medias (hope to have lan internet at that time...)

0.4 - "Hollywood"

• index local files in a database
• possibly keep some kind of bookmarks for net-streams (aka i-net radios)
• GUI polish
• improvements of the documentation
• RPM and Debian specs (possibly rpm packages too)

0.5 - "My first video window"

• a simple video window (use ideas from boombox, maybe)
